![]() bin file is for your drive, which in my case was the WH16NS40 1.02 file. After a little while, I wanted to watch a movie, but now no discs work in the drive. I got the firmware off of LGs site and the drive worked just fine. zip is the firmware loader application and also the downgrade enabled firmware versions (for not only my drive) once you have the application open just click on the file button and look for wherever you extracted the zip to (the folder) and select whichever. I have an LG HL-DT-ST-BD-RE WH14NS40 and I recently flashed some new firmware from 1.03 to 1.05. (I’m trying to rip a 4k Blu-ray disk, but it isn’t even detected which is why I’m pretty sure I need to downgrade my firmware which I have no clue how to do)Įdit: in case anyone comes to this post seeking help, this was my solution: in the description of the video there is a google drive download link. I have windows 10 64bit (don’t know if that matters) thanks in advance! If anyone could maybe guide me through it or maybe make a video or something that would be greatly appreciated. I’m a beginner with all of this, and I have looked at fours and everything and they confuse the heck out of me.
